#111 Beachfront First Floor

This was my experience: Plusses: Nice location, easy access from beach hwy., lovely beach view, nice balcony, nice pool area, convenient to nearby attractions, some beach amenities in closet provided, fencing & entry codes provided extra security. Non-Plusses: Attractive with cluttered kitchen & window sills, toaster oven full of crumbs as though it hadn't been cleaned in ages, reeked of bleach when we entered & had to air out, low water pressure in the baths caused a long time for the tub in master to fill & showers low pressure, twin beds in the 2nd BR had squeaky mattresses (dtr. had to sleep on couch), one toilet wouldn't flush last day. I might consider booking this complex again but not this unit. I'd heard friends rave about staying here & spoke with a couple that owned a unit near ours that were very happy with their choice. If I owned a unit like this, I'd remove a lot of small items on window sills, counters & such - same concept as selling. Although, I know it's a non-issue for some. I reported noisy twin beds & received a reply that she'd never heard that before & maybe even perceived as an insult?? It was simply reporting a fact that affected our stay & hope to avoid it for the next person. We also had a toilet issue & I was told that it'd just been addressed prior to our stay (in a defensive manner). Well, maybe it was ( it was apparent that someone had done a patch job on it), but please don't question your guests who are paying premium for your unit. I've stayed in a lot of beach condos over the years, so I'm no stranger to the market. Overall, we had a nice time, but it would've been 5 stars if these issues hadn't been there &/my reports had been well received or even appreciated.
